Altura Holidays - Travel Guide

Altura Holidays are based in a purpose built resort situated in the east of the Algarve region of Portugal, toward the border with Spain.

Altura holidays are popular with families and the resort is well positioned close to some superb blue flag beaches with water sports aplenty. Altura Holidays are also popular with keen golfers given that there are no less than three first class golf courses right next to the resort.

Among the opportunities for day trips on Holidays to Altura, the picturesque town of Tavira to the west has some of the most impressive buildings in the Algarve. Being close to the Spanish border it's quite feasible to take a trip across the border into Spain to a look around the beautiful city of Seville.

Despite being a relatively quiet resort Altura holidays have their fair share of bars and evening entertainment. Altura also boasts some very fine restaurants. Accommodation on Altura holidays is a nice mix of apartments, villas and Altura hotels, giving you plenty of different options.
