How to search for a free child place holiday

We’ve made searching for your next family holiday easy. All you need to do is use our search facility at the top of the page, fill in your details including destination choices, airport preferences, dates, duration and passenger information – making sure to state the number of children and their ages, then click search!

Eligibility for free child place holidays

The maximum age for a free child place can go as high as 16 years old! However, this is dependent on individual hotel policies of adult grading.

To secure a free child place, you must have two fully paying adults on the holiday booking to make one child aged between two and 16, eligible for the saving. Your chosen board basis can also affect the eligibility of your child with many All Inclusive properties capping a child’s age at that of 12 years old.

Each hotel’s terms and conditions may differ, so it’s best to complete your holiday search as normal, stating the ages of your child or children and then using our handy website filter to narrow your search to show only holidays with free child places available. – That way you know the holiday your lusting over, definitely benefits from this amazing saving!

Free child place pricing explained

Free child places are available on selected holidays whereby one child goes free when two full paying adults are on the booking. Only one free child place is available in each selected hotel room or selected apartment type or villa with two full paying adults. Other children must pay the full brochure price.

When searching for your holiday on Holiday Hypermarket you will be presented with a list of deals stating a per person from price. This price already includes your free child place discount! The cost of your already discounted holiday is then averaged into an even split between the remaining people on your booking. For example, if you are a family of two adults and two children, the cost of one child is removed and the remaining price will be divided by three to give you an average cost per person for your holiday.

For further detail you can choose to click through to the travel options page on your desired holiday where you scroll down to the “Your holiday breakdown” section. This lists the accurate pricing for both adult and children packages, shows any holiday extras you may have chosen to add and displays your holiday savings.
