Did you know you could still take advantage of a TUI or First Choice free child place when holidaying as a single parent? Well, you may be able to do just that and we’re here to explain how.
Free child place holidays do require two fully paying adults to be on the booking, for one child to then be eligible for a free place. However, some hotels actually cap a child’s age at 12, meaning those aged 13 and above would be classed as an adult. Therefore, depending on the age of your children, you can work this to your advantage.
If you would be holidaying as a single parent with two children, where one is aged 13 or above, you and your older child will fulfil the two fully paying adults, allowing your youngest to go free!
Alternatively, if you’d be traveling with only one child or if your children are both younger than 12 years old, it may be beneficial to partner up with a friend or relative and holiday together! Enjoy the bliss of adult conversation and another helping hand whilst the children play. Just make sure to book together, with two fully paying adults on the booking, one of your little ones will then go free.
