If you’re looking for a holiday in December without flying long haul (A.K.A flying for 8 hours or more!) Cape Verde is a great pick in just a 6 hour flight. The beautiful beaches and views perfectly compliment the year round warm weather making the ultimate relaxing retreat. Similarly, Egypt is a great Decermber holiday spot for families with tons of incredible All Inclusive hotels with waterparks onsite and it’s just a 5 hour flight.
Maybe it’s just the two of you so flying long haul isn’t a worry, then the Caribbean Islands are always great for a December holiday. At this point it’s the dry season so rainfall is at a minimum and you can just soak up the scorching sun and post-card worthy views.
