Living the high life in Rhodes

You’ll feel like a king staying near the ancient acropolis ruins in Lindos. Not least as they lead down past whitewashed buildings to car-free cobbled streets that have a preservation order attached to keep them just as beautiful. You can use the watersport centre on golden sand Pallas Beach or lounge at Saint Paul Beach and swim in the natural harbour. There are lots of charming wine bars and chic cocktail bars in Lindos away from the sanctuary of the luxury hotels as well as a late night market selling crafts. Although smaller, nearby Kolymbia’s nightlife scene matches with classy cocktail bars on Oslo Road.

The ancient spa town of Kalithea has plenty of spa hotels to match, or visit the original bath house and dine amid the beautiful architecture. Just below here there’s a private beach for secluded sunbathing, or you can snorkel and dive at the underwater caves. There are around 100 nightclubs in Rhodes, but one of the biggest and most classy is Paradiso open-air beach club on Kalithea’s seafront. Listen to international DJs from an exclusive area right behind the console or head to the VIP bar.
