Costa Dorada Luxury Holidays

Get ready for a luxury holiday mixed with fun activities and relentless sun

Luxury in Costa Dorada means staying in 4* hotels at one of Europe’s largest theme parks, PortAventura, or splashing out at top class waterpark hotels in La Pineda.

In just over two hours you’ll land at Reus Airport, ready to start an exciting holiday with a dash of indulgence. Less than 20 minutes from the airport is PortAventura – one of Europe’s biggest and best theme parks which has a number of classy hotels for you to relax in after a hard day on the rides and water slides.

Or to stay outside of the park and still close to the facilities of Salou, La Pineda is a peaceful resort with a three kilometre length of sand. Choose to be close to town and the excellent restaurants by Playa Pineda beach or spend time on the more secluded end of the beach at Playa del Raco.

Living the high life in Costa Dorada

You’ll quite literally be living the high life at PortAventura as it houses rollercoasters including one of Europe’s tallest and fastest, Shambhala. Even taller and faster, the Vertical Accelerator hypercoaster that resides at the new theme park Ferrari Land, is sure to be a scream. With a number of theme parks at PortAventura, Ferrari Land uses Ferrari’s advanced technologies in rides like the driving simulator and even house an authentic Italian trattoria.

While over in La Pineda, things are decidedly more laid-back. Its luxury charm come in the form of modern haute cuisine restaurants like Mix La Pineda that has a fusion menu covering sushi to burgers, and serves cocktails looking over the Mediterranean. And although La Pineda’s nightlife is generally sleepy, one place that both ups the pace and the style is Pacha nightclub, that welcomes DJ names like Danny Romero and Afrojack. You can also start here early at the swanky El Restaurant and cocktail bar.

If you feel the urge to shop, just a 10-minute drive north, dotted along Tarragona’s pretty streets are a handful of independent boutiques. And, around an hour further, Barcelona’s Avenue Diagonal has everything high-end designer all in one place.
