Resort Summary

The biggest reason for the ever-increasing numbers of people travelling to La Pineda and nearby destinations on Costa Dorada holidays is that this region is ideal for bucket and spade holidays. There are excellent beaches all along the southern coast of Spain, and La Pineda definitely delivers the goods. Three kilometres of unbroken sands line the town’s edge but there are two distinct areas – Playa Pineda and Playa del Raco. Playa Pineda is the town’s main beach and where you’ll find all the beachside bars and restaurants. When the beach becomes Playa del Raco it gets wider and slopes gently into the water, making it the perfect spot for swimming.
