Crete's All Inclusive hotels have you covered
After your four-hour flight to Crete, transfers to popular resorts like Stalis and Sissi take around 90 minutes along the scenic north coast.
Stalis knows all about All Inclusive, and as it’s so close to neighbouring Malia and Hersonissos, you get all three towns included in your stay. While Stalis is pretty peaceful, Malia is the nightlife capital of the island and Hersonissos offers top theme parks. However, with your All Inclusive hotel laying on interesting entertainment and providing lots of places to drink and dine, you might not want to leave.
The small historic town of Aghios Nikolaos has a lot going on for lovers of fortresses and relics, with a good archaeology museum detailing it all. It’s also an All Inclusive haven, boasting hotels with spas, others with kids’ clubs and all with excellent inclusive meals and drinks and access to the town’s many beaches.
Holidaying in Sissi is a quieter option for long walks, a chilled beach and seaside meals. Don’t worry though, its luxe All Inclusive hotels know how to lay on the perks, with places like Aquis Vasia having no fewer than seven pools, four restaurants, five bars, a club and spa.
Aghios Nikolaos not only has a bevvy of beaches, but also a pretty marina with a sandy cove and natural lake that you might like to dip your toes in. Its central sand and shingle beach is Kitroplatia – the busiest in town it’s lined with restaurants and has a kids’ play area, plus there are Ammoudi and Havania beaches to try.
Stalis has a six-kilometre sandy beach that leads on to those of Malia and Hersonissos, making a coastline that changes from restful at the centre to playful on either side. Or classy and traditional Analipsi has two kilometres of shore ranging from watersport-ready sands to rocky coves.
