Whether lazing on a beach is your thing, hiking in the mountains or strolling around ruins and historic sites, Cyprus has all this on offer plus an array of modern resorts and hotels. The Paphos region has a diverse selection of resorts, an array of Blue Flag beaches and numerous cultural possibilities. Paphos Town itself is centred by a castle and has a selection of fun activities including a zoo and Aphrodite Water Park.

The shallow waters of Coral Bay are popular with families, while Limassol, the largest city in the region, is packed with shopping, nightlife and restaurants. Limassol Castle provides a point of interest for history buffs and there are also many fine museums to enjoy.

Over in the Larnaca region resorts vary from the party town of Ayia Napa to family-friendly spots like Nissi Beach. Inland there’s stunning countryside to explore on hikes and walks. For a dash of authentic Cypriot charm, the town of Protaras is hard to beat with a great beach and numerous international restaurants alongside traditional Greek tavernas. Nightlife is low key and revolves about a selection of bars and pubs.
