Moraitika is also a nice place to wander during the day to see the older parts of the village, where the houses decked with flowers are squeezed into charming narrow lanes. Messonghi is about 14 miles from the airport and the capital Corfu Town, where you'll find an even greater selection of shops and bars and an interesting mix of old and new buildings.
