Having shaken off much of its seedy image from the 1960's, holidays in Las Vegas have become increasingly popular. The older part of Las Vegas, known as 'Downtown', is a bit less glamorous than The Strip but still has a certain charm. A stroll down Fremont Street is a great part of any Las Vegas holiday. The casinos on Fremont Street are some of the oldest in Las Vegas and you can feel the sense of nostalgia in the gaming areas. They are not the big draw that they once were, but the atmosphere adds a certain something to Las Vegas holidays that you won't find anywhere else.

Visit Paris, New York And Venice...

The Strip is where you will find most of the action on holidays in Las Vegas. This 4.5-mile stretch of enormous hotels and glittering casinos has everything from a miniature Eiffel Tower and a replica New York skyline to mock Venetian architecture and even a pyramid. Time flies on Las Vegas holidays but there are no public clocks in sight on Las Vegas Boulevard, as no one seems to care much about what time it is. The amazing shows and the gambling just keep going, with billions of dollars changing hands every year in the bustling casinos. Las Vegas holidays can also be a shopper's dream, with many of the larger hotels incorporating huge indoor malls where you can buy pretty much anything you fancy. In the evenings your Las Vegas holiday will really come alive, with a huge variety of restaurants and eateries and plenty of Vegas style entertainment. You'll find magic shows, concerts and musical variety performance, such as the show at the Stratosphere Hotel featuring look-alikes of big name stars. If you are feeling particularly brave there are also a few "thrill rides" at the top of the Stratosphere tower where you can feel yourself struggling against gravity at almost 1,000ft up.
