Majorca is a friendly destination, where families are always welcome and where the little ones always have plenty to do. While leaving the warm sunny beaches behind is one thing, finding the best places for the kids to play is quite another. So if you’re looking for a last minute holiday to Majorca, it has plenty of places to unwind and play after a busy day exploring.  Here’s some of our favourite family parks in Majorca.

Sun and fun at Sa Rapita Beach

Located towards the south of the island, Sa Rapita Beach is a kilometre of pristine sand, kissed by clear blue sea, making a visit to this part of the island pretty much a given anyway. That said, it makes our list for the beautiful nature reserve located just a few minutes from the shore, where you’ll be able to take in some lush woodland and scenery while the little ones blow off some steam climbing trees and chasing butterflies. It’s an idyllic setting, with plenty of potential for holiday snaps too. This is a perfect spot for those planning to hire a car, to enjoy the peace and quiet and a great natural park in Majorca which is great fun for all the family.

If you’ve got your heart set on Sa Rapita Beach then you can stay nearby at Santanyi or Porto Petro which are directly eastward from Sa Rapita!

Ride ziplines and pirate ships at the Jungle Park

In Santa Ponsa, you’ll be able to make you way to the incredible Jungle Park! With three courses to explore those with a love for adventure will definitely have buckets of fun. Obstacle courses and ziplines across the treetops challenge the brave and the bold, while more tame rides on high-wire pirate ships are there for the younger ones. With nine hectares to explore, you’re going to have plenty to do.  Prices vary, but you’ll be able to enjoy Jungle Park for as little as 15 euros!

See peacocks and llamas at Santa Eugenia Natural Park

Animal lovers are in for a treat when they make their way to Santa Eugenia Natural Park, nestled in the heart of the island. This tranquil place has a whole host of furry and feathered friends to meet and greet, including ostriches, deer and llamas. Take the old trail at the Rancho Grande for a true cowboy experience, then head to the included mini-zoo and playground area for a park that will round off your little banditos’ Wild West escapades.
