Troulos Bay Hotel
The Troulos Bay Hotel boasts great beach views, and the pool is a real draw, too. It has an extra section for kids clipped onto the side, forming an L shape, and is a great option for lazy days with the family. Throughout the day, music plays to keep guests entertained and there’s a bar that’s handy for lunch.
Buffet breakfasts come with a sea view at the restaurant. In the evenings though, it’s all about a la carte cooking. The best seats in the house are on the terrace that faces the beach. And afterwards, there’s a lounge bar for drinks.
Overview of Troulos
A holiday to Skiathos is sure to bring a smile to your face. The scenery’s like something from a film set, and because the island is only 12 kilometres long, it’s easy to get out and see it all – just remember to take your camera!
The Troulos Bay Hotel is in the compact resort of Troulos, but it’s easy to reach other resorts by public transport. The majority of the island is calm, but when you want something lively, the bars and shops of the capital of Skiathos Town more than deliver.
Things to do in Skiathos
You couldn’t be closer to the beach when you stay at the Troulos Bay Hotel. Head across the terrace and you’ll be on a magnificent stretch of soft sand. The locals encourage guests to take part in water sports, so it’s easy to pluck up the courage to skip across the water.
The bars and tavernas of Troulos are also only a short walk away. The centre of the resort’s steeped in history, but there’s also a traditionally British feel, so you’ll never struggle to find a taste of home among the Greek culture.
When you want to explore, Skiathos Town’s only a 10-minute drive away. Buses run regularly and you can also get a water taxi.
With white sands and an incredible natural setting, Skiathos is a dream for lovers of the outdoors.
