Nina Areti

It’s all about the views at the Nina Areti. Each apartment comes complete with panoramic vistas down the hillside to the twinkling Aegean Sea below. If you look in the other direction, you’ll have a great view of the pretty village of Aghia Paraskevi.

The pool area is a real highlight here. It makes the most of the idyllic views and the handily placed sunloungers capture the best of the beating sun. Self-catering is a breeze, too, because all the rooms come with a kitchenette. And if you don’t fancy cooking, there are plenty of bars and restaurants only a short stroll away.

Overview of Troulos

On a holiday to Skiathos, you’ll discover a small island packed with green landscapes, pine-lined beaches and resorts rich in culture. There are more than 2,000 islands and islets in Greece, but you’ll be hard pushed to find one more beautiful than this.

There are plenty of small and idyllic resorts here like Troulos where you’ll find the Nina Areti. But, as the island is tiny, you can get everywhere in around half an hour, so you can easily explore livelier spots like Skiathos Town, which mixes old and new and has a stunning harbour.

Things to do in Skiathos

When you stay at the Nina Areti, you’ll have a great base to explore Skiathos. If you fancy a relaxing day, then you can reach a sandy beach in only a few minutes.

If you’d like to get out and explore, then the centres of Aghia Paraskevi, Troulos and Platanias are all within 15 minutes’ walk. Each of these lovely destinations will provide you with a great range of bars and tavernas.

To reach the capital of Skiathos Town, you can catch one of the local buses that regularly stop near the hotel. This is the beating heart of this beautiful island, so expect to find a small, modern town that’s full of historic attractions like the Monastery of Panagia Evangelistria.

With more than 50 beaches set against the clear sea and lush green backdrops inland, Skiathos is a destination that suits beach bunnies and adventurers alike.
