It’s all about the views at the Areti. The complex is high up in the hills, so you get vistas of the green hills in one direction, and Aghia Paraskevi and the ocean in the other.
The hotel has a modern and stylish pool exclusively for guests. When you take a dip, you’ll have the best possible vantage point for admiring the scenery.
In your room, you’ll have a kitchenette, so you can cook whenever you’re feeling peckish. If you don’t feel like cooking up a storm, there’s a string of restaurants and tavernas within 15 minutes’ walk.
Overview of Troulos
Skiathos is only a small island but its coastal towns pack a lot in. The island might only be 12 kilometres long and six kilometres wide, but it’s full of beautiful beaches, pine forests and whitewashed buildings.
Plus, it’s easy to get around the island during your stay at the Areti. The public transport network is excellent, so you can swap between resorts with ease. This means that you can experience something different on every day of your holiday to Skiathos. For some of the best scenery on the island, head to Achladies Bay but, for lively nightlife, visit Skiathos Town.
Things to do in Skiathos
The location of the Areti means that the best resorts in Skiathos are all close by. You can walk to Aghia Paraskevi and Troulos within 15 minutes. It’s easy to get to Skiathos Town on the local bus, too.
The sandy beach at Aghia Paraskevi is even closer than the village centre. It has a reputation as being one of the most beautiful on the island, but time spent on the sand doesn’t have to be relaxing. There’s a great mixture of water sports on the front, with options including pedalos and jet skis. If you want to fuel your sense of adventure, then you can rent a boat for a trip around the island.
