There’s even the Medieval Rose Festival, where locals parade through the streets in full regalia, joined by fire-jugglers and jesters, all rounded off with a lovely big banquet, too. In essence, this is a beautiful part of the world, with warm weather and soothing breezes, where the beach life is vibrant, and remnants of a rich history are at every turn.
