What to do in Ialyssos
Life in Ialyssos revolves around its beach. Surrounded by hotels, cafes, restaurants and low-key bars, you can spend the day on its pebbles and enjoy tasty, authentic food and fine facilities. Evenings tend to be quite relaxed, but there’s usually always a quiz or karaoke night on. Ialyssos’ beach is a firm favourite with windsurfers, who turn up to ride the famous meltemi winds. If you prefer sand to pebbles, take the 10-minute bus journey down the road to Ixia where there’s a stretch of sand that’s perfect for sunbathers.
