Car Parking

Newcastle Airport has three main places to park, short stay, long stay and Park and Fly which is off the airport. Prices can vary, but for a weeks worth, expect to pay around £90 in the long stay car park, and up to £120 to enjoy the meet & greet facilities and save the additional walk to the terminal.*

Hotels

Newcastle airport has a hotel for every budget, there’s now 7 hotels to choose from ranging from the 3-star Britannia hotel on the airport grounds, to the offsite Novotel Hotel or the DoubleTree Hilton right next to the airport. Prices often include parking at the hotel or airport and start from £90 for parking and a overnight hotel stay prior to your holiday.*

Check-in

Newcastle Airport has two check in areas, one beside Greggs, and one further down the airport beside M&S Food To Go. There are huge screens with all the up to date flight information plus plenty of staff who are always on hand to help. There are loads of places to grab a snack before moving through to the departures but remember any liquids bought prior to security won’t be allowed through. There is also a cash machine here next to WH Smith and Travelex for any last minutes currency changes.

Security

Newcastle has a pretty slick security system, it has added more security gates, making it a smoother journey and faster. Even in busier times you can slip through easy with the fast track service costing only £7 each. Airside

Prices are relatively affordable, for around £75* a couple for a 2 hour entry pass, where you’ll be able to enjoy inclusive food and drink including popular beers and spirits so you can still enjoy your classic airport pint!

Bars & Dining

Flying Eagle has modern décor and a sophisticated bar area why not fill up here with meal and a beer or a wine before your flight. A huge advantage for the smokers is at Eagle Bar they have a designated place to smoke, check with staff for directions.

Real ale lovers with enjoy the constant flow of the wide selection they have here on tap at The Beer House. Don’t have too many before the flight!
