Lively and Attractive

Holidays in Corfu Town reveal a very pretty, cosmopolitan town featuring a remarkable mixture of architecture and culture. With elements of Venetian, French and British architecture, intermingled with traditional Greek building, Corfu Town is rightly considered one of the most attractive places in the whole of Greece. The French built 'Liston' arcade was modelled on the Rue de Rivoli in Paris, with its street-side cafés and elegant arcades. The narrow winding streets of the old town are reminiscent of Venice and at times you'll feel you are strolling the streets of Naples rather than on holiday in Corfu Town.

A 16th century fort, one of two forts in the town stands over the streets and alleys below. Corfu Town holidays offer a fascinating experience, with numerous museums and galleries and a number of archaeological sites in the area. Corfu Town holidays have a vibrant nightlife thanks to the scores of tavernas, bars and all manner of discos and nightclubs. Corfu Town has its own beaches, some shingle and some long stretches of sand, but there are also many other beaches to enjoy just along the coast at a number of nearby resorts. Corfu Town holidays are a great base from which to explore the rest of the island and should be suitable for everyone from couples to families and groups of friends.
