Where is hot in December?

So it’s official. The first big snow flurries of the season have started to whip across the north of the British Isles, and temperatures are struggling to stay above freezing. It’s time to crack out those winter woolies, wrap up warm and ramp the heating up to full in order to fight off the biting British cold.
