The hotel is just a 10 minute drive away from the centre of Funchal where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and bars if you want to explore. The Dreams Madeira Resort & Spa is set to open its doors for the first time in late 2024. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a traditional Madeiran village when you arrive at this place – the hotel’s terracotta-topped buildings are spread out around gardens filled with palms, and there’s even a restaurant that’s set inside a former lighthouse. This place has an exclusive feel, and if you’re the type who enjoys sitting around enjoying doing nothing when you’re away, this is the ideal place for you.
This place is yet to generate any TripAdvisor reviews as it’s a new spot to Maderia’s beautiful island, but Dreams has beautiful hotel concepts all around the world, with rave reviews coming from each site.
Spread over three levels, the main pool will be perfect for guests of all ages. There will be sunbeds and umbrellas and it will be close to the Pesqueiro pool bar. The adults-only pool will be set in a quiet area, and of course, this pool will be exclusively for adults. There will be sunbeds and umbrellas, and it will be close to a pool bar.
The buffet restaurant will open its doors for breakfast and lunch, and you’ll have a choice of five à la cartes on hand for your evening meal – the line-up includes a seafood grill, an Asian restaurant and a French brasserie that’s pitched up in a former lighthouse. There’ll be eight bars at this hotel, including the Preferred Club Lounge that’s just for guests staying in a Preferred Club room, and an ice-cream parlour that’s set right on the marina.
