Aqua Bay

On top of a seven-strong pool line-up, the Aqua Bay’s got an awesome waterpark on its doorstep. For little ones, there’s also The Kids’ Club by TUI at the nearby Planos Bay Hotel, which lines up loads of games, activities and treasure hunts.

The restaurant at the hotel is buffet-style, with spreads of Greek and international dishes. At breakfast, there are made-to-order items that are cooked in front of you. During the day, two bars dish up snacks, and in the evening there’s also an a la carte.

Overview of Tsilivi

With a mild Mediterranean climate, rich vegetation and stunning mountain ranges, the scenery in Zante is some of the best in all of Greece.

On a holiday to Zante, you’ll uncover an island paradise where every view vies for the attention of your camera lens. When you leave the Aqua Bay, expect to encounter untouched white-sand beaches, sheer limestone cliffs and clear waters.

Zante’s only a small island, too, so it’s the perfect size for any explorer. From large commercial centres like Laganas to traditional Greek villages like Kampi, there’s a resort that suits your needs.

Things to do in Zante

The Aqua Bay is next door to a waterpark with heaps of chutes that you can whizz down. Little ones have their own section, while adults can enjoy a plughole-style ride, three spiralling slides, a lazy river and racing flumes.

If you want to swap slides for the beach, there’s a biscuit-coloured sweep of sand less than five minutes’ drive away in Tsilivi. In the centre, there’s also plenty of family-friendly fun, including a mini golf course and child-friendly restaurants.

If exploring lively Zante Town is top of your list, it’s a 15-minute car journey away.

From the second you step foot on Zante’s gorgeous shores, you’ll see exactly why it has become so popular. After spending your holiday exploring the coast, shooting down slides and enjoying family-friendly fun, you’ll be itching to return.

Resort Summary

Once a small, traditional fishing village, Tsilivi is now second only to Laganas in terms of size and nightlife. Fringed with pine trees and olive groves, the bustling resort has become a popular destination with families and party-goers looking for a cheap Zante holiday with a difference.

Families will enjoy the Blue Flag-accredited beach with its shallow, calm water that is perfect for paddling. The resort also benefits from a multitude of other fun activities including a fantasy mini-golf course set in beautiful gardens complete with dinosaur statues and water features. There are plenty of quieter, child-friendly bars and restaurants away from the wild party scene, and the bowling alley offers neon-lit, late-night games.

In recent years Tsilivi has gained a reputation for great nightlife – as the sun goes down the main street comes alive with live music bars, traditional pubs and nightclubs which provide a fantastic evening for everyone.

You’ll find food to fit all dining budgets and tastes in Tsilivi, from international to Greek. For a taste of authentic Zante, head to the traditional tavernas dotted around the village and sample skordostoumpi, made with aubergines and garlic, or order a mezze table and experience a host of different Greek flavours.
