Casa Florina

The Casa Florina is built into the side of the Imerovigli clifftop, on the edge of the Santorini caldera. As a result, you’re treated to uninterrupted views of the Aegean Sea and Skaros Castle.

Outside, a wooden terrace looks out over the sea and comes with a selection of luxurious sunbeds. When you get too hot, you can jump in the whirlpool. There isn’t a restaurant here, but it takes less than five minutes to reach Thira’s generous selection of eateries.

Overview of Santorini

Santorini is famous for its sunsets, history and charming whitewashed villages. More than 200 of the Greek islands are inhabited, but Santorini is one of the most beautiful. On your holiday to Santorini, you’ll have vineyards to explore, a huge caldera region with volcanic landscapes to see and miles of beaches to lounge on.

This island is a truly magical location that will capture your heart. As soon as you arrive at the Casa Florina, you’ll reach for your camera, and you’ll soon understand why the island has been used as the backdrop for countless novels and films.

Things to do in Santorini

Santorini’s capital of Thira is only a few minutes away from the Casa Florina. This is the commercial heart of Santorini and is the place to be if you’re looking for shops and extraordinary views.

The town is most famous for its multi-coloured cliffs, but there are plenty of activities, too. You can enjoy a trip to the theatre, sample the food in the wonderful restaurants or take a boat tour around the island. If you walk along the cliffs to the north, you’ll reach the small village of Firostefani. Here you’ll have the best views of the volcano and a front-row seat for some of the best sunsets on the island.

Santorini is a beautiful location and after your stay, you’ll be enchanted by its unique charms.

Resort Summary

With its fantastic views over the caldera, a good selection of tavernas and beautiful whitewashed churches, Imerovigli is a fantastic destination for those who want to enjoy the unique and picturesque landscape on their Santorini holidays.

The sunsets in Santorini are highly rated as a result of the island’s height above sea level and the sun’s reflections bouncing off the different colours of the rocks. Catch them from tavernas and bars across Imerovigli or nearby Skaros Rock – one of the best vantage points.
