Overview of Pastida

Pastida is the place for a laid-back holiday to Rhodes, and stays at the Garden Hotel can be as relaxing or as action-packed as you like.

Most visitors choose to spend their days chilling out in the local bars and restaurants that make the most of the scenery out to sea. But, if you’re looking for something more activity-packed, you can visit Kremasti Beach, which is famous for its water sports.

Although Pastida is a sleepy place by nature, it’s easy to explore the rest of Rhodes as you can reach Rhodes Town and Faliraki after a quick taxi ride.

Things to do in Pastida

The Garden Hotel is in the village of Pastida. It’s in an away-from-it-all location, but you’re only a 10-minute walk away from tavernas and shops. The centre of the village is pedestrianised, so it’s really easy to explore the narrow streets. For a quiet drink with the locals, head to the central square. In the evening, many of these bars also host live music.

When you’d like some more action and adventure, you’re only a 20-minute drive away from the cultural hotspot of Rhodes Town. When a big night out is on the agenda, the same length of time will land you on Faliraki’s main strip, where you can party until the sun comes up!

A beautiful place with a laid-back vibe, you’ll leave Pastida feeling rested and recharged.

Resort Summary

Overlooked by Mt Filemiros, Pastida couldn’t be more laid-back if it was lying down. The centre of the town is completely free from cars and other automobiles, with only the odd scooter or motorbike zipping along the narrow streets. Its pedestrianised nature means it’s a great place to wander round and soak up some of the local banter from the very friendly residents. Alternatively, you could visit one of the many tavernas clustered around the town square and watch the world go by.

While relaxation is most certainly the name of the game here, that doesn’t mean you’ll be kicking your heels in Pastida. The aforementioned tavernas often offer traditional live music and serve food until long after the sun goes down, so there’s no need to travel far when you choose this spot for All Inclusive holidays to Rhodes. Those in search of a more raucous night out can always head to Faliraki, the island’s party hub, 20 minutes’ drive away.

Beach lovers and watersports enthusiasts won’t be disappointed either – Kremasti, the beach, is just five minutes north of the town, here, the mix of shingle and soft sand is an ideal spot to top up your tan, while the strong breezes which bless all of Rhodes‘ northern coast make for model windsurfing conditions.
