Wherever you stay in Hersonissos, you won’t be far from the beach – most accommodation directly overlooks the sea, or offers convenient ways to get there. That equates to more pools than you’ll know what to do with, three buffet restaurants and two open air eateries, plus evening entertainment and daytime sporting facilities. Not to mention access to the popular Star Beach, which is only a 10-minute walk away.
This peaceful hotel offers a large swimming pool that’s surrounded by trees and garden space, ideal for more secluded Greek island holidays. Incidentally this spot also doubles as the nightly entertainment takes the stage. The King Minos is only a two-minute walk from the beach and offers minigolf, football and volleyball courts, plus weekly Greek nights with dancing and dining.
The Palmera Beach Hotel directly overlooks the water, and even has a taverna-style restaurant just along the sand. There’s a small pool and sun terrace within the hotel grounds, if you aren’t up for making your way down to the beach, as well as a trendy bar and wellness centre.
These Self Catering apartments each come equipped with a kitchenette and lounge area, with views of the gardens and swimming pool. The Sylvia is conveniently located between Koutouloufari village and the beaches at Hersonissos. They’re both 10-minute walks in either direction, so you’ll have your pick of daytime activities and dinner spots.
