Costa Sal Apartments

The Costa Sal Apartments are spread out in landscaped gardens. Inside, you’ll find plenty of space for cooking, while outside you’ll discover your own outdoor balcony or terrace complete with sun loungers, a table and chairs.

There are two pools inside the grounds, and each has its own section for children. Wraparound terraces are also laced with sun beds and parasols. In the summer, one of the pools also has its own bar.

If you don’t fancy cooking up a storm, an on-site restaurant can help you with breakfast, lunch and dinner. After your evening meal, musicians sometimes take to the stage on the terrace.

Overview of Matagorda

If you’re heading on a holiday to Lanzarote and would like somewhere that’s a little away from the action, Matagorda is perfect. The resort was born after a tourist boom in the 1990s, and since then it’s developed a charm and character all of its own.

Although small in size, Matagorda is packed with beaches, bars and restaurants that will help keep you relaxed throughout your stay. Life’s lived in the slow lane here, but for something livelier, Puerto del Carmen is close by. With a stay at the Costa Sal Apartments, you have the best of both worlds.

Things to do in Matagorda

When you stay at the Costa Sal Apartments, you’ll find a Blue Flag beach only a couple of minutes’ walk away. As soon as you arrive here, you’ll notice its size and calmness. You’ll never struggle for space here, and relaxation is always on the agenda.

The centre of Matagorda is also nearby. Here you’ll find a number of shops where you can buy essentials for the apartment and restaurants where you can enjoy an evening meal.

If you fancy heading for a lively evening out, then there’s a bus stop directly outside the hotel. From here, you can reach Puerto del Carmen’s bustling strip in only 10 minutes.

If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday where you can recline on the sands and enjoy all the benefits of a beachside location, Matagorda is the place to be.

Resort Summary

One thing you’ll immediately notice about Matagorda’s beach is its size. As a resort on the smaller side there’s ample room to accommodate all of its visitors, so you’re never going to feel crowded. The next thing you’ll notice is how calm things are – and we’re not just talking about the waves.

Without all the watersports and activities offered at livelier resorts your opportunity to properly unwind won’t be disturbed, and you’ll be able to enjoy a well-earned rest. As one of an irresistible trio of Blue Flag beaches it’s here that you’ll spend most of your time – so make sure you bring a good book, and don’t fall asleep in the sun!
