Holidays in Costa Teguise also benefit from being extremely well connected transport wise too. Should you want to venture out, you’ll have no trouble – Arrecife Airport is a 15-minute drive away, the historic capital of Teguise only 10 minutes away, and big attractions such as The Cuevas de Los Verdes and the Jardin de Cactus are right on your doorstep. The buses in Costa Teguise are super reliable and economic for your cheap holidays.

Exactly what you're looking for

As a purpose-built resort, Costa Teguise has everything a sun-seeking holidaymaker could ask for, from some of the best in Lanzarote All Inclusive hotels to quaint Self Catering apartments, and everything in between. Whether you’re looking for all out luxury, or an easy budget friendly stay, you’ll find exactly what you want.

At just a stone’s throw you’ve got plenty of attractions, boutique shopping centres for all your new buys, as well as food and drink goods, weekly markets for some handmade souvenirs, and a lively selection of bars and restaurants for all.

For the perfect family day out, the nearby Playa Bastain has a soft-play area for little ones and a bowling alley if you’re seeking out some shade, among the sun loungers on the sandy shores.

What’s more, the famous artist residence Fundacion Cesar Manrique is a must-see for art and culture lovers, but also makes a good family trip out with some fascinating sights.

Lanzarote’s only waterpark, Aquapark, is situated here in Costa Teguise too, as is its fun aquarium which is home to turtles, sharks and stingrays. Tickets for both can be bought online – and trips paid for before the holiday don’t have to be included in the budget, right? Cheap holidays to Costa Teguise coming right up!

Breathtaking beaches

Costa Teguise holidays boast five stunning beaches – the largest two, Playa Cucharas and Playa Bastain, offer plenty of amenities along with long stretches of fine golden sand. These offer plenty of space to lay out your towel, splash around, or build castles with the kids.

The smaller beaches are more rustic and naturally beautiful, such as local favourite Playa Ancla, perfect for swimmers and snorkelers with its clear blue water. This tends to be less busy than its bigger neighbours, so if you’re looking for a quieter, more secluded spot, Playa Ancla is for ypu.

And the best part? All five beaches are linked by a long promenade with shops and restaurants, so if you fancy a change of scenery, it’s easy to stroll on over to the next one. Plus, you’ve got everything you could need at arm’s length when that stomach rumbles, or it’s time for that compulsory ice cream, or it hits beer o’clock – but that’s all the time on holiday anyway!

This coast of Lanzarote is also known for its watersports – Costa Teguise is prone to windy conditions, so you can take up windsurfing or water-skiing and glide across the waves.

Deep sea discoveries

Scuba diving in Costa Teguise is known as being among the best in Europe. With a range of companies and professional instructors catering to all levels of ability, you’ll be swimming alongside turtles and cuttlefish in crystal clear lagoons before you can say ‘PADI course’. And, if you are serious about getting qualified, there are plenty of opportunities to take the plunge.

For the sports enthusiast who would prefer to stay dry in the sunshine, the oldest golf course in Lanzarote is situated here. With frequent visitors to the island including the King of Spain and former Prime Minister Zapatero, you could be working on your swing and summer tan with royalty. Just try not to blame any poor shots on the cool summer breeze, or get distracted by the spectacular views!

Food for thought

Aside from the watersports and jaw-dropping scenery, holidays to Costa Teguise also boasts an amazing selection of restaurants. With international cuisine ranging from traditional Canarian to Indian or Italian, you are sure to find one that caters to you.

From restaurants for fine dining, to those with kids’ meals for even the fussiest of eaters, or a quick lunch on the go are all readily available.

One of the best eating spots in Lanzarote is El Navarro, which can be found in the Playa Bastain area. It’s a family run Mediterranean restaurant serving delicious treats, but due to its popularity it books up, so if you’re thinking of a romantic meal for two or got a special occassion, be sure to book in advance.

If you’re looking to venture further out to try some new spots, Puerto Del Carmen is less than a hlaf hour drive away and its Avenida de las Playas is where you’ll find tons of bars and restaurants. Playa Blanca is a tad further at about a 40 minutes drive, but the Marina Rubicon is certainly worth the visit for the dreamy views and again, another great spot for a romantic dinner.

The nightlife

Head to Avenida de Jablillo if you’re looking for a fun evening out, here you’ll find everything from traditional English pubs to glamorous cocktail bars, and even a Beatles-themed bar.

If it’s the neon lit clubs you’re after, Puerto Del Carmen will be your best bet and there’s always plenty of drinks offers to keep them flowing.
