Mediterranean Loggerhead turtles have come to the Bay of Laganas to lay their eggs for over 10,000 years. Up to 2,000 turtles visit this marine park to lay their eggs on summer nights, particularly on the white sandy beach of Sekania.

On Zante’s north coast, the region of Skinari features stunning rock formations, sea arches and sea caves that reflect light to produce an otherworldly shimmering blue palette. Take a memorable trip in a glass-bottomed boat to view these ancient caves and their crystal-clear waters.

Apokries Carnival
Zante comes alive in February with the Apokries Carnival, which celebrates life through theatre, dance and song.
