Visit the beautiful city of Venice and traverse the canals by traditional gondola. The Rialto is the site where the very first bridge was built over the Grand Canal and where a bustling fruit and veg market has been held for hundreds of years.

If you enjoy historic architecture Venice has a multitude of tremendous looking buildings including some 200 churches tucked away among the Piazzas and watery streets. For an unusual souvenir take a ferry or water taxi from Venice to the little island of Murano to pick up some of the famous glass products produced there.
