Hotel Xaloc Playa
If location plays an important role on your package holiday deals to Punta Prima, take a look at the excellent Hotel Xaloc Playa. The hotel is set a hop and a skip from a glorious stretch of golden soft sand and clear blue waters. There’s also a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants only a couple of minutes’ walk away, too.
The hotel itself is a friendly place, with staff going out of their way to help. Step inside the reception and you’ll find a bright, open space split into little sections by wooden trellises and pillars. Comfy sofas, big indoor plants and chunky coffee tables complete the scene.
The bedrooms here are basic but very well-kept. Whitewashed walls and pale tiled floors give way to simple wooden furniture and beds dressed in floral linen. TVs come as standard, as do small balconies and terraces.
Food-wise a delicious buffet restaurant serves up a good choice of food. With fresh pastries at breakfast, and Spanish favourites like seafood paella served alongside international dishes in the evenings. If you feel a bit peckish during the day, you can even get light snacks at the pool bar.
The curvy pool here is a good size and comes set in a wraparound sun terrace with gardens right next to it. Sunbeds, parasols and a kids’ section add the finishing touches. Plus, you’ve also got crazy golf onsite, too.
