Holidays In Costa Caleta

Costa Caleta is a steadily expanding resort on Fuerteventura's east coast that features a man-made golden sand beach made with sand imported from the Sahara set in a pretty curved bay. The resort is the busiest on Fuerteventura and with such great facilities it's no surprise that more and more people are choosing Costa Caleta holidays.

The recent addition of a golf course adds to the already top-notch tourist infrastructure that has established Costa Caleta holidays as the top Fuerteventura holiday destination. The town consists of quiet tree lined streets and a long main thoroughfare lined by modest low-rise structures where you'll find the main hub of activity.

There's a relatively new shopping complex near the golf course and also a cinema, although most of the films shown are in Spanish. Holidays in Costa Caleta put you about halfway down the Fuerteventura coast, which gives you a fairly central base to explore the rest of the island. The public transport around the island is few and far between so a hire car would be the best method of getting around.
