Close to the beach, this is the place for seafood lovers. A charming Spanish restaurant, you know it's going to be good when the locals are eating there too. With no written menu, the specials are whatever fish has been caught fresh that day and there's usually calamari or mussels to start.

The best Chinese in the area is named after the owner and serves all your favourites. The set menu is good value and you can swap dishes if you'd prefer to try a bit of everything. It's a 20-minute stroll north, in Costa Antigua, but if you don't fancy the walk they'll deliver to your apartment or even the pub you're drinking in.
A café with a view, the name says it all. Feast on pizza or Spanish grub in this handy cafe then roll straight back to the beach afterward. This little place is also good for a coffee or ice cream pit-stop. If you need a lunch time cool down then try a jug of sangria - for sharing, of course.

For a relaxed family meal, head to Mustang Sally's. This bar-come-restaurant serves British-style food from breakfast to ribs or lasagne. The children will be kept amused by the small play area and pool table. It's just outside Costa Caleta in Costa Antigua but well worth a visit.
This Spanish restaurant is one to try for tender steaks and their delicious leg of lamb. You'll be left well-oiled with free drinks on entry and a complimentary liqueur after your meal. Live music events are held on some nights, with tuneful Alberto being a favourite.
