Cape Verde’s Top Family Friendly Resorts

Cape Verde’s islands are a beautiful place to plan to visit for your next family holiday. The islands give you a very luxurious and tropical feel, without having a super long flight to the likes of the Caribbean or the Maldives.

Check out some of our favourite spots with some fantastic facilities for children:

Melia Tortuga Beach Resort and Spa

The Melia Tortuga Beach Resort and Spa is a great spot for families, with a packed activities timetable, two fantastic pools and a beachfront location. Algodoeiro Beach is filled with watersports too, so even outside of the hotel there’s plenty of things to enjoy as a family! The town of Santa Maria is a short taxi ride away for when you’re craving a dose of culture.

If you’re anything like us, food is super important on holiday, especially when going All Inclusive. There’s plenty of delicious places to grab a bite here including the main buffet restaurant and O’Grille restaurant and bar. There’s also a la carte dining available at Pasta Nostra buffet, plus Aqua Nikkey fusion which serves up Asian and Peruvian food for dinner, just don’t forget to book a table!

During the daytime, you’ll find something to keep the whole family entertained, whether it’s watersports, dance lessons, beach games or even a trip to the playroom. The tempo picks up in the evenings, when local dance troupes and live singers make regular appearances on the Piazza terrace. Children have their own mini-disco, too.

Sound like a great place for your next family getaway?
