A guide to nightlife in Side

Side‘s nightlife scene mirrors the rest of town – easy-going, but alive and well, perfect for great nights out on cheap Turkey holidays. The after-hours scene here isn’t in-your-face noisy, opting instead for a more laid-back approach, with the exception of a few nightclubs. Most of the bars double as restaurants during the day and into the evening, which is great news for you – more often than not, your hotel or restaurant staff are more than happy to arrange a taxi service to and from each location for you.

Party all night at Liman Restaurant Lounge Club

This club acts as a swanky candlelit dinner spot by day and a raucous club by night. Once the lights go down, it’s standing room only. The tables on the patio are cleared and the neon lights come up as everyone settles in for live music along the waterfront.

Hang out at Kiss Bar

Tucked away in Side’s old town, the Kiss Bar is the choice for people-watching with a cold drink. Draught beer, glasses of wine and cocktails are all on offer here, along with a television to keep up with the footy. You’ll know you’ve reached Kiss when you see a peculiar table outside with four wig-topped mannequins sitting around it.

Get the party started at Lighthouse Club Side

This neon-lit club rests just alongside the harbour with views of the Temple of Apollo in the distance. At the Lighthouse, you can expect DJ sets, dancing, disco balls and a lot of sparklers. The drinks can be a little pricey, but you’re paying for the open-air club vibes.

A little bit of home at Royal Castle Pub

The Royal Castle Pub is known for its warm atmosphere – and it’s not the heat we’re talking about. Along with televisions broadcasting live sport, the pub features live music throughout the week. There’s also karaoke, so you can have go at being the entertainment on your Turkey holidays.

Multifaceted Conny's Restaurant and Bar

Conny’s is a triple threat – it’s a boutique hotel, restaurant and bar, though each aspect has its own distinct personality. The ground floor of this white-pillared building is where you’ll find the bar. It comes complete with cocktails and beer, along with games, karaoke nights and live musical acts.

Shisha and cocktails at Korner Bar

Yes, it’s located on a corner, and yes, it’s a popular bar with sports on TV and shisha pipes. It serves food throughout the day, but it’s the cocktails the Korner Bar is known for. They’re often topped with sparklers and heaps of fruit, the alcohol-free versions of which are a big hit with kids.

Unwind in style at Karma Restaurant & Sky Lounge

During the day, Karma is one of the most popular restaurants in the area for its waterfront location and gourmet eats. It’s also sought out for its lengthy bar and laid-back atmosphere that makes for cosy nights along Side’s coast.

It’s impossible not to feel energised in Lush – the vibrant atmosphere is infectious. It serves as a restaurant throughout the day and into the evening, but the long list of cocktails is what’s really impressive. Lush is also a renowned spot for karaoke.

Booze with views at Mehmet's Bar

This little bar is a certified hidden treat – kick back on the outdoor patio with a drink and enjoy the waterfront view. The cocktails are high quality, especially the mojitos and margaritas, and the music keeps things laid-back. Expect to hear tunes by Bob Marley, Paul Simon and a lot of the blues.

Relax at Apollonik

Apollonik is a bar with many faces – on the inside it’s reminiscent of old-world Turkey, while the patio has a more rustic, countryside feel. The bar sits in the shadow of the Temple of Apollo, and it’s a relaxing spot to grab a cocktail or beer and watch the sun go down.
