Bluebay Banus

The Bluebay Banus combines a first-class pool scene with a near-the-town postcode and a private beach club.

Water babies love this hotel. There are three really spacious pools to pick from and kids also have their own pools to paddle and splash in. If that’s not enough, the hotel has a private beach club with its own bar only a five-minute walk away.

The Tropical restaurant serves buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Show-cooking stations are the highlights here and you can watch as your food’s prepared in front of you.

Between February and November, the Sir Drake’s Lounge Bar opens its doors. It serves drinks from 10am until the early hours of the morning and also offers a programme of live music, karaoke, quizzes and professional performances.

Playa Neuva Andalusia is the name given to a number of manmade interconnected beaches lying just to the west of Puerto Banus. This beach attracts glamour at times and there are one or two beach bars and clubs with excellent reputations.

Playa Puerto Banus is a family-friendly beach with fine sand and a protected cove created by a breakwater. The water is warm, calm and shallow, making it a popular spot for groups with young children.

Playa Rio Verde is just to the east of Puerto Banus next to the Rio Verde itself. This European Blue Flag beach is accessed by crossing a river over a stylish footbridge, from which you can watch wader birds in the reeds. Playa Rio Verde is a quiet beach but it still has excellent facilities and is home to a number of beach bars and clubs.
