Flamingo Oasis Hotel

The Hotel Flamingo Oasis prides itself on offering fun for all the family. It’s only one kilometre away from Levante Beach, but with a large pool, a kids’ club and west-end style shows all available, you may find it hard to leave the hotel. There’s a relaxation area reserved for adults looking for a little peace and quiet, but where this hotel really delivers is on the entertainment front. With four bars, there’s also a range of live performances, including comedians, piano players and dancers.

Overview of Costa Blanca

In Costa Blanca, the sun always seems to be shining. This popular spot is located on the south-eastern coast of Spain, and as well as looking out over the Mediterranean, on a particularly clear day you can see as far as the Balearic Island of Ibiza. Benidorm, where you’ll find the Hotel Flamingo Oasis, gets most of the limelight when people consider holidays to Costa Blanca, but spots like Denia and Moraira are also popular with holidaymakers. Costa Blanca provides a little something for everyone. Beach lovers can sample over 200 kilometres of beach, while night owls can party the night away in one of the mega-clubs. With so much to see, do and explore, Costa Blanca will have you returning again and again.

Things to do in Costa Blanca

Benidorm is the heart and soul of Costa Blanca, and a stay at the Hotel Flamingo Oasis will leave you in the centre of the action. You’ll never be short of something to do in Benidorm. The curvy bays and seemingly endless beaches are a great way to spend a day, regardless of whether you’d rather relax or take part in water sports. In the evening, Benidorm comes alive. You can head to one of the many English bars for a little slice of home, or dance away into the early hours at the super-clubs. If you fancy getting away from the action, then the Serra Gelada natural park and Albir Lighthouse aren’t too far away. If you fancy getting out of the sun, you can also explore the Canelobre Caves in Busot.

Resort Summary

The six kilometres of sand formed by Benidorm’s two main bays are a big part of its appeal. Closest to the town centre, and near to many All Inclusive Costa Blanca hotels and restaurants, is Levante beach, also known as Sunrise Beach.

If you just want a paddle then you’ll find the shores pleasingly shallow, while further out in the water is a playground for all ages. There are swinging bridges, diving boards and rafts, with any number of watersports beyond, from banana boats to jet skiing. There is even a cable-skiing station in the sea at this end of town – it’s a bit like water-skiing, but without the boat.

The other bay is Poniente Beach. It’s a big beach, with a long, pedestrianised promenade and a playground for children. You’ll find it slightly calmer than Levante, but there are still plenty of restaurants looking out to sea here. It’s worth taking the trip up to the viewing point in between the two bays, dubbed the ‘Balcon del Mediterraneo’ the balcony of the Mediterranean, for the astounding views.

There’s also the opportunity to wander through the old town, where you’ll find amazing views over the bays and an impressive range of shops and markets to explore. If you fancy going further afield, head out into Costa Blanca to explore the Mediterranean Sea, mountains and natural parks of this beautiful area.
