During your visit to Dakar, make sure to visit one of the heritage museums and sample traditional Sengalese street food at an open-air market. The favourite local dish is dibi, which is roasted goat meat flavoured with spices. It usually comes with sides like grilled onions, bread and a mustard dipping sauce.
