If you've ever pictured paradise, we imagine it looks a lot like Eagle Beach, Aruba. With its tropical climate, dreamy white beaches guarded by palm trees and temptingly warm waters, this Caribbean island is the best that holidays to Aruba have to offer.
Part of the beautiful Oranjestad region, Eagle Beach is not only a great place to relax but it's also the perfect place from which to explore other parts of Aruba, including the stunning capital of Orenjestad which is easy and quick to get to.
Idyllic and beyond compare
One of the world's most picturesque seaside resorts, Eagle Beach is also one of the most tranquil. Despite the convenience of the nearby luxury hotels, Eagle Beach is still very much unspoilt and offers a peaceful haven for those wishing to share their day at the beach with nobody for company but the tropical fish that will accompany them as they swim in the clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Eagle Beach is not just for sunbathing, though – there are a great selection of water sports to choose from. The more adventurous can take advantage of private snorkelling lessons, surf and paddleboard sessions, as well as trips to remote and spectacular surrounding islands. Expert staff will make sure that you master some new skills as well as enjoying stunning scenery and a snack and a tipple or two.
Oh what a night!
In the evening, the region transforms into a magical wonderland with soft music and sparkling lights. After a day on the idyllic beach, enjoy a fabulous cocktail with the super-friendly locals at one of the many beachside bars to be discovered along the two kilometres of stunning coastline. Enjoy fresh seafood and fine wines in one of the luxurious resort restaurants where staff are always happy to recommend local specialities including keshi yena, a local favourite made from cheese stuffed with spicy meats.
Perfect for those who prefer a more relaxed vacation, Eagle Beach is less of a party resort than its neighbour Palm Beach and is a firm favourite among holidaymakers who wish to recharge their batteries with a delicious drink as they watch the sun set over the ocean. However, having said that, those looking for a little more action can visit one of the many clubs and casinos within the area.
