Although there are many awesome places to socialise in Playa de las Américas, they can generally be grouped into three main areas.

The Patch

Offering family entertainment in a commercial space, the Patch is home to restaurants, bars and shops that buzz to the sound of cabaret, dinner, theatre and karaoke. This is a great place to go with children after a day out at the Tenerife Zoo or a faster karting experience, and you can also pick up a delicious takeaway if you’re in the mood and too tired to move!

The Starco Centre

Situated at the western end of town, Starco is a slightly smaller area near the larger Veronicas. It’s worth a trip to pay a visit to the famous Linekers bar and Tramps nightclub.

Las Veronicas

Across the road is the resort’s largest collection of pubs, bars and clubs that stay open through the night and host popular DJs in the summer. O’Neill’s, which has a large terrace and Waikiki’s Beach Bar, which overlooks the sand, are great places to enjoy the warm evening air. A young people’s haven, Veronicas has a great buzz for those eager to join the party.

A Very Hot Party Resort

Packed with clubs, bars, pubs, restaurants and even a casino, Playa de las Américas has everything from cabaret to karaoke and a full inventory of restaurants, whether you feel like traditional Tapas with a glass of wine, a bowl of Chinese or Indian, or even a full English breakfast to cure your hangover the next morning.

Not restricted to partying, however, guests at Playa de las Américas can enjoy no less than eight sun-soaked beaches – some even boast Tenerife’s unique, black volcanic sand.
