Come and relax on the long beach of Playa de San Agustin. Right at your fingertips this beach is never crowded and there will be plenty of room to put your towel out and enjoy the mild weather. This beach is much quieter than its neighbour Playa del Ingles and you can enjoy snorkelling and scuba diving at your leisure. A gentle slope from beach to sea means the shoreline is great for children to play in.

After your swim grab a bite to eat at the many restaurants lining the boardwalk above the beach. With a variety of cuisine there is something for everyone’s tastes. Head next door to Maspaloma’s Blue Flag beach and enjoy the 6kms of glorious gold sand. Maspalomas is known for its huge Saharan-like sand dunes where you can catch a ride on a camel. You might feel like Lawrence of Arabia as you enjoy fantastic top floor views from these friendly creatures. Finish the journey by stopping at the camel ranch and take your time posing for pictures with these majestic animals. Just watch out¦ they are spitters.

The busy city of Las Palmas is only a 40-minute drive away. Here you can explore the cobbled streets of the historic Vegueta Quarter and head to the top of the cathedral for a breath-taking view of the city. Las Palmas is also known for its exciting nightlife, including cocktail bars, pubs, karaoke, and clubs.
