Senses Palmanova

The Senses Palmanova is an adults-only hotel that comes with seven pools. Five of these even have swim-up loungers. A buffet restaurant will take care of most meals. Depending on your table, you’ll also get sweeping views of the sea or the hotel’s beautiful gardens.

The Senses Wellness & Spa is free for all guests. It comes with an indoor pool, hydrotherapy sessions, a sauna, a Turkish bath and a Scottish shower. At twilight, flit between the two evening bars. The front of the resort is packed with Blue Flag beaches. Playa Carregador is particularly popular if you’re looking for water sports, scuba diving groups and glass-bottomed boats. Just off the beach, the long promenade is home to restaurants and cafes where you can dine surrounded by luxury.

Palma Nova is also incredibly popular with sports fans. For cyclists, Palma Nova is close to many of Majorca’s top cycling routes. For golf fans, there are eight 18-hole courses within a 15-minute drive of the hotel.

Resort Summary

Palma Nova has three white, sandy beaches, the longest and most popular of which being Playa Carregador. This European Blue Flag-winning beach is 600 metres long and runs up to Palma Nova’s busy harbour.

There’s tons of space here for families to set up camp and the shallow, warm water is great for the little ones to do some splashing around in. There are even a few playgrounds at the rear of the beach to keep the kids occupied while you soak up the rays. This beach is ideal for water sports and you’ll find scuba diving groups, snorkellers and glass-bottomed boats making their way across the sea.

The two other beaches are Playa Palma Nova and Son Maties, both are also Blue Flag winners so are clean and have great facilities, plus there are parasols and sun loungers for rent. Son Maties has a few bars and restaurants along the promenade offering delicious drinks and a solid view of the Mediterranean Sea.
