Flights From Teesside Airport
While this airport may be one of the UK’s smallest, it sees over 150,000 passengers go through the terminal each year. Travellers are able to choose from a select range of destinations including Bulgaria and Palama, as well as Amsterdam and UK based Aberdeen.
Teesside International Airport is no stranger to changes, having started out as a former RAF station. More recently, the airport went through further developments in July 2019 when it was renamed from Durham Tees Valley Airport back to the original Teesside International Airport. With new locations introduced in recent years, the airport is growing in terms of popularity and the nearby holidaymakers love having the airport on their doorstep.
While it remains one of the smallest in the country, it does feature an on-site car park that is secure. The car park is only five minutes away from the actual terminal too, meaning convenience is kept to the highest standard possible.
In terms of location and accessibility, Teesside International Airport is easily reached by car. It’s located just off the A67, near the A1(M). It’s approximate 10km East of Darlington and 16km South-West of Middlesbrough, further afield you’ll find Durham at 39km away. There’s easy access to Stockton, Hartlepool and Newcastle too.
