Samos holidays are a great opportunity to enjoy a sunny Greek island holiday. The island's capital Samos Town is a bustling tourist area, situated on a deep inlet. From the busy waterfront area the town rises up the slope of a hillside to where there are pretty pastel buildings with red-tiled roofs divided by narrow alleyways.

These meandering streets form the old part of the town known as Vathy. Canopied tavernas line the harbour area where the town comes to life in the evening. Head down to the harbour as the sun starts to set to enjoy the Samos holiday nightlife.

Samos holidays give you the chance to explore some beautiful Greek countryside. Samos has verdant mountainous areas in the west where orchids and aromatic herbal medicines are grown. The lowlands are covered in olive groves and vineyards that produce the island's sweet Muscat wine, which is definitely worth sampling whilst on holiday in Samos.

Samos holidays offer a number of good sand and shingle beaches, which are dotted along its coastline often in quiet coves. In the southeast, Pythagorio in a popular resort set in a circular harbour with picturesque views of colourful fishing boats and expensive yachts moored at its shore.
