Protur Aparthotel Bonair
The Protur Aparthotel Bonair is a firm family favourite and receives good reviews for its friendly service and wide range of facilities. Set in spacious gardens with amazing views over the Mediterranean. The location of this hotel couldn’t be better pulled up against countryside at the northeast end of Cala Bona; the hotel is just a short walk from the beach and the marina. Plus, there’s a little tourist train to take you into Cala Bona centre and to nearby Cala Millor.
The food gets a few gold stars, too, with child height buffet counters and breakfasts featuring classics like pancakes and pastries. The accommodation is also really family friendly. Everything is arranged in comfortable one bedroom apartments kitted out with separate lounges, kitchenettes and furnished balconies.
The star of the show is the children's pirate themed plash park - its home to chutes, slides and even a giant pirate ship. The neighbouring swimming pool, meanwhile, has been styled like a river, winding its way through huge, palm dotted terraces. Sprinkled with sun beds and parasols, the looping terraces and adjoining lawns offer up plenty of quiet corners.
Elsewhere, there's plenty more going on. You'll find an indoor pool, plus a gym and sauna. There's also a Thomson Kids' Club and a playground for the little ones. The fun continues into the evenings as well, with talent shows, live entertainment and mini-discos.
