Attractions Of Gibraltar Holidays
This small strip of land has had a somewhat turbulent political history with various occupants that have left their mark. Gibraltar holidays are not known for their historical sights, although there is a well-preserved Muslim bathhouse in the Gibraltar museum. Unfortunately very little else remains of the country's Spanish and Islamic architecture.
A well-known feature of Gibraltar holidays is the resident Barbary macaques, a type of monkey from North Africa. The Barbary macaques are the only primates living wild in Europe and it's said that when these inquisitive little creatures leave, Gibraltar will cease to be British.
Take the cable car up to the top of the rock to see these fascinating animals. Shopping in British high street shops at tax-free prices is another highlight of Gibraltar holidays.
