Albufeira Holidays are situated in a large holiday resort on the coast of Portugal's southern Algarve region.

Albufeira, like many of the resort towns on Portugal's Algarve coast, has grown from a small fishing village to establish itself as one of the region's largest and most popular holiday resorts. Although there are local buses that travel around the area and to the beaches, they can sometimes prove a little too infrequent for some people. The easiest way to get around if you want to explore more of the beaches or head further inland is to hire a car from one of the many local vendors.

Buses run regularly from the Airport in Faro to Albufeira and will typically take around an hour to complete the journey. By taxi the trip will be a little shorter depending on where exactly you are staying in Albufeira.
