Weather In St. Lucia

The island of St Lucia is a member of the Windward Islands in the east Caribbean. It has a dry season and a rainy season. The dry season falls between January and May and is the most popular time to visit. The rainy season is from June to December.

Luxury St Lucia holidays are ideal every month of year, and although there is a ‘rainy’ season, the rainfall usually occurs in short, sharp storms followed by immediate sunshine, which can be fascinating and exciting to experience.

A storm approaches…

Temperatures hardly fluctuate throughout the year, remaining constantly high. They average approximately 30C during the winter months and often climb higher than this during the summer, with night time temperatures falling a little but still remaining warm. The mountain peaks of the inner island always stay a little cooler.

St Lucia has a hurricane season which normally occurs within the rainy season, ending in November, so it may be advisable to check the forecast before you travel and whilst you are there.
