Dubai Marina Holiday Deals

The jewel in the city's crown

Dubai is a city that’s famous worldwide, having grown rapidly from a desert community to a world class destination in just a few of short decades. Yet if that success story is inspiring, then you’ll find your Dubai Marina Holidays positively breathtaking. Towering skyscrapers shimmer above you as pristine white yachts float by the promenade on a sumptuous expanse of water. All around you are the sounds of laughter, chatter, music and fun as the city hums with life.

That said, Dubai Marina is a super escape from the bustle you’ll find in the rest of the city. You’ll see the incredible shape of the Palm Jumeirah man-made resort island glistening offshore, with dozens of distractions every which way vying for your attention. Whether you make want to spend a day at the Dubai Marina Mall, or get out on the waves, expect a holiday like no other.

Entertainment every which way

Dubai Marina is a district in love with the enticing water of the Persian Gulf. Getting out onto its crystalline surface is effortless, thanks to an abundance of boat trips and yacht cruises around the harbour and bay sure to suit any budget. Should you be feeling a little more courageous though, the likes of wakeboarding and scuba diving also promise plenty of adventure on Marina Beach Dubai.

Back on dry land, the fun never stops either. For one thing, you’re only a five-minute cab ride from the Mall of the Emirates, a mega-mall in every sense of the word. You’ll find fashion boutiques, tech outlets, toy shops and souvenir stalls by the score here, and the shopping complex is so vast it’s even got its own 3,000 square foot ski slope. It’s filled with ‘real’ snow, and you can rest after a jaunt here at the 4D cinema. Elsewhere in Dubai Marina you can skydive or head out to perfect your swing at Emirates Golf Club.

Spoilt for choice while strolling

One of the favourite places to spend some time in this heady hotspot is along the Dubai Marina Walk. This waterfront promenade snakes around the man-made harbour, drenched in sunshine and swathed in superb views and excitement. With Jumeirah Beach just a step off the pavement, and with over 300 stores and over 60 restaurants lacing its length, this is an escape all of its own.

Public performances, street art and other events are easily found here too, especially in the community focused Cobblestone Boulevard. Crowds gather particularly at the weekends to savour the sounds of local musical talent, yet there are plenty of ways to find a hidden gem of your own if the high end fashion houses are too busy. In fact, the Covent Garden Market on Dubai Marina Walk is locally known as the place to go for top trends at bargain prices, so don’t be shy in browsing for your next big wardrobe addition.

Dining and dancing

Your favourite chain restaurants happily make their home on Dubai Marina, but authentic cuisine from every corner of the globe is easily found here too. Waterfront dining is a must, and you can expect to become the latest fans of local favourite venues like Ruby Tuesdays or Coco’s.

Whether it’s the spices of Asia, the rich sauces smothered over classic Italian pasta, all-American burgers and pizza or authentic Middle Eastern fare, restaurants along Dubai Marina dish out the flavours in style. Be sure to also consider the options available to you in the various Dubai Marina hotel restaurants, which offer world-class cuisine.

Come nightfall, you could duck into an Irish themed bar to while away the evening in conversation, or make for the livelier music venues like Lock Stock & Barrel. Yet for a real taste of how they do things after dark here, try the incredible Zero Gravity club, wreathed in blazing neon lights and with world class DJs roaring their sets out into the night. Add cocktails by the sea for extra sophistication and you’re on to a winner.
