Kadikalesi Holidays

Location Of Kadikalesi

Kadikalesi is located in the Bodrum region of Turkey, north of the Turgutreis.

A quiet seaside resort…

Kadikalesi is a relatively quiet seaside village in the Bodrum region of Turkey, a few miles north of the livelier Turgutreis. Surrounded by pretty citrus groves, and reasonably sheltered from mainstream tourism, the village has managed to maintain a more traditional Turkish charm, combined with the amenities, facilities and attractions that one would expect from a beach resort holiday in the 21st century.

Unspoilt and traditional…

The village of Kadikalesi’s main attraction other than its unspoilt Turkish atmosphere is definitely the very popular beach. This is the heart and soul of tourism in the village, with a beachfront parade of shops, cafes and tavernas offering up excellent al fresco dining, with tables and chairs even spilling onto the beach.

Fresh, tasty seafood…

If you love freshly caught seafood, there are few places offering a better experience. What could be better than sand under your feet and a lovely meal, merely yards away from the waves lapping the shore?

Take a trip…

If you tire of sunbathing and eating, perhaps a short walk up the hill to the castle ruins overlooking the village is in order. Or, if you wish to venture further afield, you are never far from the busier resorts of Bodrum and the aforementioned Turgutreis, which both offer a little more in the way of nightlife.

Overall, Kadikalesi offers peace and tranquillity in an unspoilt and traditional Turkish setting. But as a bonus, you are never more than a few minutes away from a busier resort and all of the attractions they bring. Kadikalesi really is the best of both worlds.
