Spoil yourself rotten at Karnagio Beach Bar, Thassos Town
Perched at the end of the harbour atop an elevated cliff face, Karnagio is an atmospheric place to visit both during the day and at night time. The sight of the sun slipping beneath the waves while you calmly sip on your mojito can hardly be bettered. The quality drinks and impeccable service are soundtracked by great music, ensuring your visit is one to remember.
A wild ride at Just in Time, Thassos Town
As the principal nightclub in Thassos Town, Just in Time receives most of the drinking traffic once all of the other bars and venues have closed. Patrons can expect a young crowd, scantily clad waitresses dancing on the bar and alcohol flowing freely until the sun comes up. The multitude of large TV screens around the pub make it a great place to watch any live sporting events that your holiday to Thassos coincidences with, too.
A hidden gem - Taverna Orizontes, Theologos
Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the shoreline, Taverna Orizontes is tucked 10 kilometres inland at the village of Theologos. Its remote location means that the clientele is far less populated with tourists than at other places. The bar often hosts live music at the weekend, like traditional bouzouki guitar tunes and rembetika music – basically a Greek version of American blues. For a more authentically Greek night out, this little gem could interest the curious holidaymaker.
